The CIA connection (bush I & II/cheny) has resulted in more loss of American freedom than any event(s) since the McCarthy era. Obama is all about change: change in how we lose our freedom: loss of economic independence and greater big government is the ultimate trump card for the loss of all American freedom.

Can your children crawl out from under this oppression? Can America survive without a diversified economy (manufacturing [autos], agriculture, and finance]? It seems the big effort is to save the corrupt and irresponsible finance industry.

Ron Paul is the only candidate to run for president that advocates underlying Constitutional principles for how America should act. The current president [constitutional law expert] seems to have no clue.

Ask for the audit, ask for responsibility, ask for improvement!

Neither the Republicans nor Democrats have done a thing about big government or about a different kind of solution to our economic woes. If we are asking for responsibility to fall to those who helped cause this problem, I’d like to see more than the Federal Reserve audited. But it’s a start.

Accountability and review is important for any business. Government is a business that has a responsibility to its citizens. Although there are some valid reasons for a certain level of secrecy, this has been grossly abused in the past administration. I am all about becoming accountable to clients and citizens.

I agree, there has been no accountability for the Fed or our government for far too long. People in positions of power become greedy and corrupt far too often.

I sometimes think the govt has us over a barrel… they take more, spend more, need more, and take more. And we pay, and pay, and pay, and pay. But have you noticed none of our politicians have cut back on their yearly pay increases? Their pension plans? Their discretionary spending? Their transportation?

Have you noticed they all campaign for our benefit? Yet govern with our money? (Increasing amounts of it?)

Have you noticed even the protesters of pork are feeding on pork?

Yes, the Federal Reserve has avoided scrutiny for many many years — but it’s much more than that.

    Where’s the tea?

I agree with everything you say Barb. I hope people get smarter and start voting some of these politicians out. But right now, I’m just hoping a lot of people sign this petition. It doesn’t do anything about government waste but it might rein the Federal Reserve in some.

Funny how if the roles were reversed and Paul had only gotten the 22% Romney garnered and Paul’s people booed Romney for winning, the est. would have STILL attacked Ron Paul and his supporters, just from another angle. Actually, I take that back. They would have wound a way to ignore his total altogether by not reporting the remaining totals. The est. is SCARED! They have been squirming now for 2 years trying to figure out how to neutralize this REAL conservative movement. They will fail.
