I switched hosts and two of my blogs imported flawlessly. This one however has been showing nothing but a blank page for days. I spent hours mucking about in the database to no avail and finally figured out it has something to do with certain wordpress files that I edited. I have no idea why it would work on my old host and break on the new but now I’m back to square one on configuring it all. Gah!
Did the version of PHP/MySQL change or maybe even the OS. Either one of those scenarios can cause hiccups.
It is looking good now, but I am sure that you were frustrated as all get out!
That’s a good question. I had it back up, was activating plugins and it went blank again. Deactivating them in the database did NOT bring it back either. Removing the database and setting it up like a new one and then importing the database worked. But I’m holding my breath here :p
Hey glad you’re back up… came in a couple of times from my emails, but you came up blank. Then I read on LVS boards your host forgot to turn the lights on. 🙂
