That was most enjoyable! The photographs are excellent, and now I want to read poetry! Karol

Beautiful shots! Ireland is certainly one of the places I would like to see, too! Thanks for sharing. Kc

Oh please tell Melissa she has a soul-sister here. I have wanted to visit Ireland my whole life from the 5th grade on. (Geography class.) And seeing out her plane window just reinforced that wish. I love her pictures — every one! Love her standing there, looking out and over… love her sitting there, moved by Yeats’ headstone.

It is gorgeous country, Anita. I’m so glad you posted these. More please???

She has more than one soul sister. Someday I should post the video of little her dancing to the Clancy Brothers. πŸ™‚ Ireland and Scotland, I don’t care about Paris or anywhere else.

  4. Hi Anita,

My daughter went to Ireland a few years ago, taking her girls with her. They all loved it and she said of all the place she had been to, which included, Paris, London and Barcelona, she wanted to go back to Ireland.

What a beautiful place! I find myself, almost daily, adding to my “Places I have to Travel” list, haha! The green countryside looks like it goes on forever. I can only imagine how amazing it must be to see and experience something like that firsthand!

Thanks for the visit Ryan. I’m partial to Ireland and Scotland. Of course there’s Australia and New Zealand. I know I can come up with lots, especially after seeing pictures my kids have taken in their travels. My travels have consisted of the North American continent. After googling cheap housing rentals in Ireland though, and having only expensive vacation rentals come up, I think I might just have to get there and worry about the sleeping part once I’m there. πŸ™‚

Hi Anita: I have a way to travel staying places free. Check this out……My son traveled all over the states this way. Not sure of the actual web site…google…couch surfing. It is a international thing as well. Basically you join this group..being verified etc. and those people open their home up to travelers. He, my son has slept on couches, in beds, have had breakfast made for him, sat around and shared stories with the people that have put him up. It’s a very safe origination. I’ll get a hold of him and find the exact web site for you.

    Have fun in your travels.
    Katie
