Sheep Herding

Posted by Anita  Published in Musings, Video

I saw this a while back but a friend was talking about his dog that was a very bad sheep herder and I had to show him this. It’s truly impressive. 😉

A Taste of Spring

Posted by Anita  Published in Musings

The year’s at the spring
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hillside’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven –
All’s right with the world!
~Robert Browning

It’s not here yet, at least where I live, but I’m so ready.

Spammers & Scammers

Posted by Anita  Published in Musings

According to all the spam I just emptied, all is not lost that my pineal gland is gone missing. They are guaranteeing that they can enlarge my penis!! I really don’t understand the point of that. They can’t possibly sell stuff by spamming totally inappropriate posts can they? Of course if I was a guy with a little weenie, maybe I’d fall for it. But why are they putting that on a post about a brain tumor? or a post about depression and suicide? Really., I promise I’m not depressed because I have a teeny weewee 😛

Oh give me the spam of old, which was at least totally hilarious. It’s unfortunate that the story in it’s entirety seems to be gone, it was quite the saga. I spent days enjoying it 🙂

Then there’s the scammers, and w00t!…as soon as I finally collect from all those poor widows and cancerous folks, I’m going to be a bazillionaire! It’s fairly amusing to read about the folks that actually take the time to string the scammers along for a while.

The saddest part of all, is that my blog is so lame, that’s about all the comments I get. Except for my few ever faithful and I thank you my friends, for that. You are so much more interesting reading than plowing through pages of spam to see if there is anything worthwhile in there. (P.S. I remember when I first started I wanted to publish the spam, just so I’d have some comments! :P).

If you believe in prayer

Posted by Anita  Published in Musings

Please send a few for my sister-in-law. She fell on her front steps and injured her neck. They performed surgery and have her on steroids for swelling. At this time she can shrug her shoulders but cannot feel or move anything lower in her arms or legs. She is the sweetest person, I’m so hoping this is temporary.

My Ancestors

Posted by Anita  Published in Musings

My mom sent me the genealogy tracing us back to various kings and other interesting folks. I thought I’d see if I could find pictures of my illustrious ancestors. I think they didn’t have very good artists in those days or else I’m descended from a very long line of ugly 🙂
