Tell Me A Story

Posted by Anita  Published in Music

Does anyone besides me remember this song? We had this on the b-side of some old red 78 rpm. But it was slightly different lyrics and not done by these guys. Still, I loved that song when I was a kid! ;).

Stand By Me

Posted by Anita  Published in Music, Video

I saw this on Facebook months ago and in fact reposted it there twice because it’s so awesome. Go here to read about the Playing for Change movement. Truly inspiring! 🙂

Playing for Change is a multimedia movement created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. The idea for this project arose from a common belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. No matter whether people come from different geographic, political, economic, spiritual or ideological backgrounds, music has the universal power to transcend and unite us as one human race. And with this truth firmly fixed in our minds, we set out to share it with the world. ~http://www.playingforchange.com/

She said she has a cold which accounted for her weak start, but she pulled it together! I just love this woman 😀

I’m wrapped up in sad days so rather than listen to me whine, have a listen to something better.
