Think Creedance Clearwater Revival now, although my imagination seems to be sadly lacking as far as giants doing cartwheels, a statue wearing high heels, look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn.
My imagination goes somewhere else entirely, which you’ll see if you click on the image π I have had a visitor to my back door I see though. I see those kitty tracks every time it snows but I never see the poor kitty. Anyone want to come over for a picnic?
Creedence Clearwater Revival – Lookin’ Out My Back Door
I LOVE this post! It was such a jolt of sunshine, literally, for me when I really needed it
Yeah, I thought we could use a taste of greenery π I thought it would be cool to have them perfectly lined up and fade the winter into the summer but I wasn’t that excited about standing out there taking 100 pictures to get the same view as last summer π
Mother Nature sure pulled a switcheroo on you! On all of us, actually. What a winter! Karol
Great uplifting post! Love it.

I loved what you did with this post – makes me think to try something like that – not your images but the idea is fab!
And where is the poor kitty?

Thanks Karol, Carol and Adele! I am so ready for this years garden π
Hi Anita,
Is that other photo really your vege garden last summer? You can grow corn? Wow! Here in SWFla we grow veges in the winter, and then hope we don’t get a sudden freeze (yup it happens). Glad I’m not a farmer…lol
Elaina
Yeah that was my garden but I wasn’t too successful at the corn. I had two perfect ears, and neither was even 4 inches long! lol I think this winter could have been bad for farming there! π
First thing I thought when I saw your snow-piled picnic table was, where did all the veggies go? (Grow?) So it was great fun to see the summer garden only a click away.
Yeah — I’ll come for a cold feast. I’ll bring a crock pot with chili ready to simmer while we make tracks all over the back yard.
I wish I knew what the Click Play to Load was loading… all I get is a second clock marking time up to over a minute, then goes back to :06 and stops. What is that?

Lol, well, I’d rather eat inside I think! Oh I added that later just because I mentioned the song, and it is a great song! Creedance Clearwater Revival’s “Looking Out My Back Door”. Not sure why it doesn’t play, it does for me but that sure is an ugly little player thing.
I clicked on your picture that turns to your garden, and I compare with this one.
Both of them give me different feelings.
I love the summer one because of your garden and that is my favoured hobby too.
However, I like both pictures because I can touch the cheerful sunshine.
Living in the cold country, I always dream to have sunshine days.
Snow? No! thanks I got a ton of it at my home. π
Yeah, I’s pass on the snow too, if I never had to leave the house in the winter it’d be okay π
